Syslogic, a Preferred Partner in the NVIDIA Partner Network, offers robust AI-powered embedded systems. These rugged systems perform inference and intelligent vision tasks. Syslogic has now introduced the AI Rugged Computer RML A4NX, based on the NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ NX system-on-module (SoM).
The outstanding product feature of the AI Rugged Computer RML A4NX is its eight GMSL2 interfaces. Up to eight high-resolution GMLS2 cameras or up to four GMSL2 stereo cameras can be connected. The AI Rugged Computer RML A4NX is suitable for the most demanding monitoring and control tasks in robots as well as in autonomous vehicles and machines.
To serve AI applications that integrate sensors such as lidar or radar in addition to cameras, Syslogic offers a second expansion option. This has four PoE (Power over Ethernet) interfaces. This allows sensors to be directly connected and powered with a single cable.
Both products use the Jetson Orin NX SoM, featuring 100 TOPS of AI performance and 16GB of RAM. This gives the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX three times the performance of the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier™. The SoM is smaller than a credit card and consumes only 10 to 25 watts of power. This unique combination of form factor, performance and power efficiency opens the door to a new generation of autonomous edge devices. Syslogic helps ensure that the technology can be used in extreme environmental conditions.
The Rugged Computer RML A4NX is IP67 certified. Syslogic combines the NVIDIA SoMs with a proprietary carrier board designed to withstand high levels of shock and vibration. To protect the electronics from moisture, water and dust, the industrial computers have a rugged housing and M12 screw connectors. In addition, a GORE ventilation element ensures pressure equalisation inside the units. This makes the RML A4NX one of the most rugged devices based on NVIDIA Jetson currently available in the world.
