The Railway Computer RSL-R 82 is equipped with an Intel Atom (Elkhart Lake) x6000E processor. This enables the railway computer to achieve a balance between high computing power and low power consumption.
The Railway Computer RSL-R 82 complies with the EN50155, class OT4 and EN45545-2 standards. In addition, the robust box PC offers a minimum 10 millisecond power-failure bridging time in accordance with EN50155, Class S2, as well as full 50155 compliance with regard to shock and vibration (EN61373), EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) and electrical insulation requirements.
The RSL-R 82 has a galvanically isolated power supply input. In addition, it can be configured for DC voltage between 16.8 and 110 volts via wide-range inputs, including the ignition controller.
For positioning and data transmission, the railway computers can be equipped with GPS and LTE/GSM/UMTS functions. Connection to typical railway BUS systems such as Real-Time Ethernet, TCN, WTB, ProfiNET or MVB is via optional expansion cards that can be easily integrated.
