The Rugged Railway Computer RML-R10 (SPE) is based on the powerful Intel® Core™ i7-1370PRE (Raptor Lake P-Series) and is purpose-built for rolling stock applications. With its robust fanless design, the system meets all major railway certifications including EN50155 (OT4, S2), EN45545-2 (HL3), and EN61373 for shock and vibration and is built for 24/7 operation in demanding railway applications. The wide input voltage range (16.8–137.5 VDC) includes S2 backup and ensures stable operation with most common boardnet.
The integrated 14-core processor (6P + 8E cores) with improved GPU and AI acceleration enables real-time processing of sensor data, edge analytics and smart control tasks. In addition, the RML-R10 features TPM 2.0, Secure Boot and watchdog functionality to meet today's cybersecurity requirements.
Designed for use in rail vehicles, the rugged system supports applications such as condition-based monitoring, predictive maintenance, vehicle-to-ground communication, and digital passenger services. The wireless version includes 5G RedCap, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and high-precision GNSS with RTK and dead reckoning for precise uninterrupted positioning in tunnels or urban areas.
With 4× 2.5Gbit LAN (M12 x-coded), CAN FD, RS232 and Single Pair Ethernet , the RML-R10 is a reliable and flexible platform for modern connected railway systems.
