The Vehicle Computer VSL offers the highest reliability for demanding applications in vehicles and mobile systems. It can be used as a data logger, control computer, data acquisition unit or vehicle-to-infrastructure communication system. Its wireless design, rugged enclosed housing and screw-in connectors ensure reliability. All components are designed for use in a temperature range of –40°C to +85°C, making the computer suitable for outdoor use.

The in-vehicle PC is the ideal embedded solution for future IoT applications thanks to its integrated wireless extension systems: LTE, GPS and Wi-Fi. It also features an ignition controller, motion sensor, dead reckoning function and interference-free CAN interface. It can be easily retrofitted in vehicles.

The in-vehicle computers are available for the long term (fixed BOM for at least ten years from release date) and can be ordered with an E-mark certificate.
