The Intel Dual-Band Wireless-AC 9260 is a WLAN and Bluetooth 5.1 adapter in the form of an M.2 2230 module with A-E key. The adapter is simply plugged into a free M.2 slot and thus expands any device with fast WLAN and Bluetooth.
The built-in Intel 9260 chipset enables transmission in the 2.4 and 5 GHz range and supports the new 802.11ac standard. Transmission speeds of up to 1.733Gb/s (5 GHz) are achieved. The Dual-Band Wireless-AC 9260 supports MU-MIMO (Multi-User MIMO) and Intel Wireless Display.
The Intel Dual-Band Wireless-AC 9260 module is also backward compatible with many popular WLAN standards: IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n. Current encryption technologies such as WEP (64 bit and 128 bit) or WPA/WPA2 ensure high security.
