NVIDIA JetPackSDK (Software Development Kit) is the perfect basis for developing AI applications. JetPack provides a complete development environment for hardware-expedited AI at the Edge applications. The current JetPack 5.0.2 version supports Jetson Xavier NX, Jetson AGX Xavier, and Jetson AGX Orin modules and developer kits. As NVIDIA’s preferred partner, Syslogic is offering the new SDK for your AI Edge computers as of now.
The latest JetPack 5.0.2 version is a fully-fledged release and replaces JetPack 5.0/JetPack 5.0.1 Developer Preview releases which were meant for development only. The new release includes a Jetson Linux 35.1 BSP with Linux Kernel 5.10, an Ubuntu 20.04 based root file system, and a UEFI based bootloader. JetPack 5.0.2 now supports ROS2 Foxy middleware, which substantially simplifies development of autonomous systems.
Plus, JetPack includes a Linux kernel, an Ubuntu desktop environment, and a complete set of libraries for acceleration of GPU computing, multimedia, graphics, and computer vision. It also supports DeepStream for streaming video analytics and Isaac Sim for robotics.
For the firsttime, SDK Manager offers the option of either a full installation of JetPack or the installation of JetPack runtime components only. The JetPack runtime installation does not include samples or documentation and uses only half the storage of a full JetPack installation. This allows much leaner systems to be developed than before.
