Thanks to the Jetson Xavier NX the AI embedded Box PC RM A3N is ideally suited as Computer Vision ECU for low-latency perception applications at the edge. This is achieved with data from sensors such as radar, lidar and cameras and the appropriate AI algorithms.
Application examples are semi-autonomous driving, intelligent driver assistance systems (ADAS) or traffic management systems (TMS). In addition, the Box-PC is often used for computer vision applications. Be it for traffic monitoring, vehicle recognition or optical inspection.
The RM A3N has six LAN interfaces, each with its own NIC (Network Interface Controller) for latency-free sensor control. Four of them can be configured as PoE (Power over Ethernet) - either with M12 or RJ45 connectors. This makes the box PC ideal for sensor fusion.
